Who says creating clean water isn't fun?

Water is so precious and necessary for human life. With many countries faced with the problem of drinking water that is not safe and increasing disease outbreaks related to contaminated water, something has to be done. One company called Play Pumps International has created a system that is not only easy but practically contagious in the fun it brings to children in Africa. This concept is catching on and the children are flocking to this system not only for entertainment but for the clean, safe drinking water that it produces.

Here's how it works:

With the system mimicking a simple merry-go-round, the children simply spin the water right up from below the ground to a tank the stores the water in a tank safely above ground, ready to flow from an easily accessible tap.

Now this is a great idea, to encourage children play and increase the amount of safe drinking water through pumps that don't require the use of electricity.

What if we tried to take this type of idea one step further and apply it to cleansing stormwater in creating some sort of circulating system that can be infinitely sustained?
