ELASA is the European Landscape Architecture Student Association, which promotes the support, cooperation, exchange of ideas and understanding between landscape architecture students throughout Europe. Each year an annual meeting (summer) and a smaller mini-meeting (spring) are arranged. Every meeting is organised in a different country by landscape architecture students of an university from that country.

Difficult question. In Switzerland unemployment is growing fast. But landscapeachitecture now is still good, there are several open positions and lots of offices have lots work to do. Im our office we do lots of overtime. but we are afraid that the crisis will come soon to our branch to. Noone knows whats in 6 months. As I heard its allready getting difficult in UK, France and Belgium.

In the eve of my graduation from Landscape Architecture program at UCLA, I was wondering what are the prospects of gaining some work experience in Europe. My concern is mainly with today's economy. Can anyone comment on that?
